## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does it take to dry?**
A: It isn’t specific on the tub, ie no time given. It will dry/harden at room temp, but the process can be speeded up by application of heat. We used ours around the outlet flue of a Morso stove, and just lit the stove as we usually did after we’d applied the Vitcas. There was no problem.

**Q: Is this odourless?**
A: Probably not odourless but I can’t remember it having a particular smell

**Q: Has anyone used this to build an outdoor Indian tandoor? Using terracotta btw ftw**
A: No

**Q: Can you sand it?**
A: No idea. You can smooth it off with a pallet knife while it’s still mobile and I guess it could be sanded if needs be afterwards.

Used this for sealing around a stove and it applied easily—good texture, strong adhesion, and sets rock hard as advertised. Initially looked great with a deep black finish, but after a few weeks it started to fade and take on a whitish tone, which was disappointing. Functionally it’s fine, but if you’re expecting the colour to hold up over time, it might fall short. Decent product overall, just not quite as visually durable as hoped.
