Pecker Head Heat Shrink Wire Connector Kit includes a wide assortment of 9 different solderless crimp style connector types including fork/spade, ring, hook, quick disconnect and butt connectors. Each insulated heat shrink terminal is made of 99.9% pure copper core with coated matte tin surface. The insulation is made from noncombustible/nonflammable polyolefin with dual wall design tubing on the outside and hot melt adhesive on inside.TIP: For best results, we recommend using a crimping tool that creates a single crimp and is designed specifically for use with heat shrink terminals. The majority of double-crimp ratcheting tools are designed to make two crimps on standard insulated connectors, one for the bare wire crimp and one connecting the terminal insulation with the actual wire insulation for strain relief.
