I've tried the unscented, clean tangerine, soft powder, and toasted coconut. The toasted coconut smells sooo good! The subtly sweet coconut smells delicious. The clean tangerine and the unscented that I bought over a year ago (that might be the old formula that smells worse?) does have that yucky smell while wet, but it goes away when dry and then they're both great. Here's the secret to using this product, RESIST the temptation to smell the cream straight out of the bottle. Just don't do it. Ewwww! You'll hate it! Instead, just ignore what your nose is telling you and put the stuff on! No! Don't smell your pits immediately! I told you not to! LOL! (I am serious don't do it!) Give it a try and trust the stuff will work and put your clothes on and get dressed. Later when you remove your clothing before bed that's the time to do your scent investigation. The few times I've gone without Lume I could really tell. I first started using the Lume Whole Body Deodorant cream in Clean Tangerine. It was ok, but one day I noticed it smelled like urine instead of tangerine. I thought maybe, because I'm old, I just smell like ointment and pee, so I asked my daughter to smell it and she thought it smelled like urine, too. I started looking at reviews for the cream deodorant and found that other people thought it smelled off-putting too, but found a review stating the coconut fragrance was much more pleasant. I bought the Toasted Coconut cream and it solved my problem. I still smell like ointment--not because of the Lume but because I'm old--but now I don't smell like pee.
