They chill quickly in the freezer & stay cold for a long period of time. Unlike the stones, they don't absorb any of the liquid which makes them great to use over and over without a change in taste. The cubes' golden color also pairs well & looks a lot classier than the silver cubes I've used in my drinks before. I'd definitely recommend this product to a fellow whiskey/wine enthusiastic. When I opened them the next morning, I was surprised that the cubes were literally ice cold, which was an indicator of good quality stainless steel. The cubes looked really nice and classy. I enjoyed them in almost all of my cold drinks, both alcohol and non-alcohol. You can add/remove any amount cubes to adjust the drinks' temperature to your liking. If you bought this as a gift, I would recommend to keep the cubes inside the box and do not touch them with your hand because you can get your finger prints all over them (which is expected for any shiny stainless steel surface).
