Day in and day out I waited for my little metal and plastic companions. When my notification that they arrived finally sounded I was elated and rushed to my amazon drop off location. With the swipe of a barcode and the unlatching of a door I was the proud new owner of disappointment. The plastic casings that are attached to the male end are absolute garbage. They look like they were roughly cut out of plastic that resembled a cover and then someone who wasn't paying attention tapped the hole for the adapter itself. When I screw the cover on half of my adapters go off at different angles. The female ends have rubber covers that are so delicate that you need to perfectly put the bolts on otherwise you will tear them off. If you need to do 10 ports you need to buy an extra pack because you WILL rip at least one of these covers.The lockup leaves a lot to be desired and I will be switching these out for nicer ports as soon as I possibly can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfectly acceptable connector with prime shipping *by B***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2021* Some reviews noted quality issues. I have used several already and had no issues. If you have soldering experience then you control the heat. It only took about 3 seconds to heat the connector to flow the solder and no plastic was melted.The strain relief connector is light weight density plastic that is soft. It is only held on by literally 2 threads. If it is carefully threaded on it seems fine but I am sure if too much shear force is applied to the connector then the plastic shell threads will be stripped.Overall I think having it delivered with prime shipping is the biggest advantage. While most electronics suppliers have more options they usually have order minimums and additional shipping. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Male fits female without any excess! *by R***J on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2021* Yeah these are cheaply made but I have been unable to find any that were not. At least these are mated pairs. The male actually fits the female without any excess length. In the past I have had to buy the male from one vender and the female from an other vender because the male from the same vendor was too long. Flux will help in not melting the plastic but you still have to be careful.
