It's expensive however is tottaly worth as its unbelievable good , last ages , hair looks healthy and clean. It's gentle, extremely moisturising, and you don't need a lot so, despite being on the more expensive side will be better value than it seems. It also smells divine (although it is quite a strong smell so may not suit someone sensitive to strong smells). The smell is kind of a honey, vanilla, cocoa butter mix - thick and creamy. The matching shampoo is also very good, but I did find it a little heavy for continued use. I now switch in Curlsmith core strength shampoo for a protein balance and Only curls shampoo for clarifying. Best advice - try what you can afford and just find the products that work best for you.
