I read the reviews and some questioned the overall quality but I took the risk and was surprised at how well it compared to my original part. The only difference I could see was in the metal mounting grommet which might be somewhat less quality looking than original but fit perfectly. The only difficult part of installation was the fit into the connecting tube to the right (facing the engine) that connects to the air filter housing (I have a 528i N20 engine). The fit is tight but if you put some WD-40 around the fitting, it fits right in with an alignment tab at the top which must align with the slot of the inter-cooler. I don't normally do reviews but I couldn't ignore the effort of MOTOKU to give us a reasonable option to replacing a ridiculously overpriced part from BMW for a "plastic tube".
