This idiophone has very well-tuned resonating surfaces, with beautiful sonics and overtones, despite the skirt depth of only 6.5 cm. With a range of one octave, (the G above middle C to the G the octave above), it is a straightforward pan very much suitable for beginners, but it is clearly an instrument worthy of far more. The dedicated mallets (included) make all the difference as well. Although the stand (included) was a little awkward to slot together, it was more than sturdy enough (some of the reviews I read said it wasn't sturdy enough). Highly recommend this lovely instrument. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Broken part, not a great start *by M***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 November 2021* Easy to assemble however one of the adaptors was broken which means we can only have it positioned at one height. Can't return as its for a birthday tomorrow and Amazon doesn't provide an option to ask for a replacement part.
