Can someone verify the dimensions please?** A: The actual dimensions are roughly 18 x 10 x 13 cm **Q: Can you set a timer up to play the radio for a set amount of time to fall asleep to** A: Yes, apparently the 'sleep function' allows it to be programmed to turn itself off in increments any time after 15 mins up to 90 mins. I've not used this function yet, though. **Q: Is it easy to switch the alarm off before it goes off? My husband gets up early and often wakes before the alarm, so switches it off so I am not woken** A: easy, peazy lemon squeezy....! snooze button is located to the front above the display. if you need to place the alarm off - be it the buzzer or the radio alarm - the button is easily located on the top of the unit with an indentation located only on the on/off button. this also assists you if you are deactivating the alarm in the dark. great unit. solidly made, usb port to the rear that can charge an i-phone overnight (not to be charged whilst radio is on as the signal received into the mobile phone only produces static noices on the radio's speaker). of course, you could put the mobile phone completely off whilst charging as not to hear static interference when radio is on. clarity of radio speaker is unsurpassable. hope this helps.... **Q: Doed it have a remote control?** A: Hi. I especially like the fact you can set a maximum volume on the alarm and it gradually increases to this volume so you're not waken with a startle.I don't understand some of the negative comments about this product:1. Sound is fantastic especially considering it's coming from one small little speaker2. A thin wire aerial is ideal as you can hide it in a suitable location or place it in the best place for best signal quality a lot easier then a telescopic antenna3. There is nothing wrong with the display and doesn't blind you at night at it's dimmest setting4. My technically illiterate wife navigated to her chosen radio station, set 2 alarms for weekends and weekdays and played music from her phone via Bluetooth without even glancing at the instruction manual.
