It came completely preassembled from Amazon ready to run. After a one tank break in, I unleashed it on about a 50 year-old white mulberry tree that had fallen in our yard. This is very hard wood and the saw performed flawlessly, hour after hour. The saw is well balanced, and starts easily cold or warm. I would highly recommend this or any Husqvarna product.
