When I was using a portable dishwasher, it worked perfectly every time and always provided great value. I never had issues with residue and everything came out clean. After moving into a home with a standard dishwasher, I tried pods, liquid detergents, and Nellie's cubes, but I kept running into unclean dishes or leftover film. I switched back to this powder because it had been the most reliable for me. In my current dishwasher, I do see some residue at times, but running a sanitize rinse removes it completely. Once that cycle is used, dishes come out clean and glassware looks clear. The plant-based and fragrance-free formula is a nice plus, although it is not a major factor for me.
