Nothing has changed about my frequency, intensity or duration of playing. I decided to try these as I could not remember how that had previously performed when used years ago. The sound is quite trebly as one would expect from flamenco strings. But nothing exceptional or profoundly different/better than other brands. However, within 3 weeks, I noticed that my finger was "sticking" or getting caught on the D string at the second and 3rd frets and was inhibiting my playing. The picture shows erosion of the binding (totally worn away on the fret side of string). Now this is quite normal for me when using say, D'Addario EJ45s after 3 about months, but NOT after just 3 weeks. So I do not understand how they could be given 5 stars in other reviews. The only conclusion I can draw is that La Bella have downgraded their product quality in recent years. So I do not recommend these to flamenco players for durability and they are poor value for value. Review: Don't buy - both E and B strings snapped when restringing.
