I removed the airbag and pulled up the trim ring to make sure the edges on the wheel spokes didn’t have any material bunched up on it. There are still some spots where the leather was bunching up and others where it wasn’t long enough. I did my best to not blame the cut quality, I’m not a master of these customer covers but have put them on other vehicles before and had it looked better. I also bought double sided tape made for fabric that wasn’t included in the kit to make sure the leather lays flat on the center spokes. The tension from the stitches wouldn’t be enough to hold the material down around these curves without it. Overall it was a lot cheaper than replacing the old, sticky, glossy leather wheel with a new part or even a reupholstered one from eBay.
