Review: Crank handle doesn't fit the optional attachment - Unfortunately the crank handle that comes with the pasta machine doesn't fit the reginette attachment that was also made and sold by Marcato. Therefore the reginette attachment cannot be used.
Review: Cannot be used with the motor attached - Why did you choose this product over others?: Like all Marcato products, this is a well-made piece of kit BUT I bought it thinking I could use it with the machine they call the "AtlasMotor" ie te one which comes with the motor. It cannot, it can only be used with the hand crank. I thought I'd been sent the wrong item at first but no, this is the only version. I've since discovered that there are a few cutters that can't be used with the motor, so check first before buying! It's not ideal, I bought the motor version for a reason, but it's not a deal-breaker: as I'm usually only making a small quantity of pasta at any one time the motor does the hard work of flattening and then running 1 or 2 sheets through the cutter afterwards is fine.

Unfortunately the crank handle that comes with the pasta machine doesn't fit the reginette attachment that was also made and sold by Marcato. Therefore the reginette attachment cannot be used.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Like all Marcato products, this is a well-made piece of kit BUT I bought it thinking I could use it with the machine they call the "AtlasMotor" ie te one which comes with the motor. i bought this item for my Electric pasta machine but the motor does not fit it, can only use by using the handle. i'm keeping it because i like the pasta shape. otherwise i would return it.
