You will need to spend time to learn how to use it, but once mastered, its superb. Unlike a β€˜normal’ whistle, you can alter pitch, and get different tones.This whistle is a turbo, simply meaning it has an extra hole. This does genuinely seem to change the sound a little when compared to a single hole, but not hugely.I have three Logan whistles now, and each has their merit. The A1 is probably the easiest to blow, light and sits in the mouth well. The 304, my favourite, is much heavier, made from stainless steel, and gives a great sound and feel. I have the Celtic engraved one, and I love it, though takes a little more practice than the A1, seems to give a more solid tone once cracked.The Delta 2 was purchased because when it’s really cold, the metal whistles can be really cold on the mouth, especially if you have it on a lanyard when walking.
