Review: It works as expected, but I wish I could crank it up to around 400W sustained without overheating protection kicking in. Bolted it to my IKEA Markus chair with a thin wooden board. I use it mostly for flight sims in VR, really adds a lot to the experience especially with software that works seperatly from the game's audio using the game's telemetry and allows you to customise the gain and sound file of each effect. I've used it for music with headphones as well and it does the job well enough for the low end. In flight sims it does overheat especially with sustained engine rpm effects and the like which takes around 10min wait for the transducer to be usable again with active cooling. It took me a while to find a compromise that works between setting the gain for certain effects and lowering my amp's gain to around 200W. With a fan it can be pushed higher. It is plenty powerful at around 200W, but I do love the tactile feedback at higher gains and wish I could push it higher without overheating after 30min of playtime. Review: this is my second device that is now combining with the other under my couch which is wired in series.Which now gives full range when they both work together. Its nice effect.Subs give airborne flow in the air while buttkicker gives the sense of feeling whats going to happen with very low frequencies. Its like someone is standing waiting for a train coming and your body is sensing with that emotion that its coming. I can see how these products came about ,with now theres motion code.But this product is a nice start for something opitional to have . Would an "Advance" transducer mounted in each recliner be way too much?** A: I have one mounted beneath a loveseat. It shakes hard enough to go just beyond the point of being comfortable. At that extreme level you can hear knocking in the unit. For me, at that high level it's distracting & unpleasant. By adjusting the amp's cutoff freq higher to ~ 100hz on your amp you can include tactile for gun shots & door slam; or you can set it lower < 50hz for only crashes/explosions, etc. If you want real extreme this wont be for you. I run mine with a left over sub woofer 120 watt plate amp and it has plenty of shake in my opinion. I ordered the Advance and the LFE version, I sent the later back. I would say this model would is perfect for your application. If in doubt, buy this and a smaller model and compare the two. **Q: will i need extra accessories with this product? or it plug and play from the box** A: I bought the wired version (there is a wireless model). Needed extras included BKA300-4 amplifier (was not included), extra rubber isolating feet for larger pieces of furniture then a single chair, cable to get signal from sub-woofer output on your surround to the amplifier. **Q: Hello, you amplifier used to move this ButtKicker?** A: Actually these amps will power up to 4 buttkickers--if you only need one you can go with the Buttkicker Amp BKA300-4 which costs around $229 **Q: Will this work on xbox one? it only has analog out put not digital like hdmi used this days.** A: Signal must be analog not digital. Low frequency end of your XBox signal must be 5 - 200 Hz. Its worth buying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by D***Y on 30 May 2023* This is great as-is, but would definitely benefit from EQ fine-tuning based on case-by-case usage. Meaning, you might want a different gaming profile from your music/movie listening profile. The amp I use this with has a LPF, so I just adjust that for my preferences, and that's enough for me. More discerning ears might want to get (probably already have) a quality EQ program to dial in the performance. On a technical note, it's worth mentioning that the claimed frequency response for this goes down to 5hz, and while that's below hearing range, you will feel the difference with this device. Most amps (including the one I'm using) only go down to 20hz, which is probably enough for most people, but again, discerning ears might want to spend a little more on an amp that accommodates the extended frequency response.
