I just got it 3 days ago and used it with my sheltie Lola. She was barking and we have been having the issue with her doing so. I immediately put it on her, and it makes warning sounds before it vibrates, after the beeps and vibrates she looked at her chest and wasn't thrilled. The sound it makes alone will make her worry but, in general, she stopped. This is the best purchase I have made.
