The product goes on easily and soaks in well.On the sides of the roof make sure you have a cloth to catch the run offs as you don't want it on your paint work. A 1 litre bottle allowed me to apply 2 coats of waterproofer to my roof and once dry you are fully protected. I used to have a damp inside roof when it rained, but with this new waterproofer applied my inside roof is dry. Well worth the money and keeps my roof sealed for another 6 months. Review: Quantity disappointing - It’s a good product does what it says. I would have given it 5 stars except the kit only contains half a litre of cleaner and half a litre of water proofer. But you need at least a litre of proofer to cover the car hood. (Says this on the bottle). This meant I had to buy another bottle of proofer so gets a bit expensive. But at least I think I’ll have enough for a second clean before winter. Manufacturer should provide a kit with enough to finish do the job. A spray application might also be better as the brush application is tiresome. ## Features - WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT DO - Specially formulated to seal and protect your canvas soft top this polymer based sealant will provide protection against moisture and other environmental damage. Used after Protex Canvas Cleaner or Canvas Dye this is the final stage in the Protex soft top restoration process. - COVERAGE & PREPARATION - It is recommended that approximately 1Ltr. of product is sufficient to waterproof a top for a 4 seater car. It is best to apply the product in cool/overcast conditions so that drying time is not too fast and to avoid causing an uneven finish. - APPLICATION STEP 1 - Shake the bottle well and decant sufficient product into a separate container to apply to the soft top. Starting in the middle and working towards the edges, apply the waterproofer with a clean paintbrush.
