It doesn't lock up at all. It corner cuts very well. It also will reverse corner cut really well. All parts of this are adjustable. It was pre-lubed right out of the box so I didn't have to set anything up. Basically just pick up and go. It came with a very nice bag and a case. My personal best record is with this cube. The coating on it reduces scratches. It functions perfectly with the included magnets. The magnets make the action very snappy. There are no springs in this so friction and sound are greatly reduced. It is very light compared to the last generation. Expensive but quite nice and probably worth the money. By far the best Gan cube ever made.
