TASTE This coffee has an unprecedented mildness. A sensual delight, created with a fine balance of subtle aromas. The rich body displays a taste pallet of fruit, caramel, nuts, chocolate, a tinge of almond and honey. It all mixes together perfectly into a full-bodied and silky blend.  STORY Both a sweet and powerful taste. Hints of black chocolate due to the darker roasting method with a full and lingering aftertaste. It is the perfect intense espresso for coffee connoisseurs. During the course of history, many battles have been fought in order to rise to absolute supremacy. A few times an emperor succeeded to rise above many kings and upon this day there is only one emperor left, which makes his title even more unique. Our battle to find a blend which could surpass the quality of our existing award-winning “Le Roi” blend was a challenge to say the least. To do so we perfected the roasting cycle, used the finest Arabicas from the three coffee producing continents and blended them into a powerful blend. Years of hard work and meticulous tasting have finally resulted in a new Vascobelo house blend, which we appropriately called “L’Empereur”, the king of kings. We made a coffee so full in taste that it is suited for just a few unique occasions only. As unique as a true emperor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful taste, no bitterness

This is my second 1kg bag. I used it in my delonghi bean to cup machine and the flavour is gorgeous, no fancy tangs, just silky smooth taste cup after cup. I know some say it’s expensive but a 275G bag of beans will be £4 so it’s not too bad really. I keep meaning to try the le roir (think I spelled that right) beans but don’t want to be disappointed after having these.

By far my favourite coffee. Delicious in a French Press, Aeropress or Cafe Express (naturally ground differently). Multilayered tastes, delicious choice and combination of beans, roasted perfectly. I’ve tried many high quality beans over the months and keep coming back and buying more of this. Definitely recommended!

Hard to beat really. These beans are not as good as, say, Square Mile Red Brick, but they are miles cheaper and can be delivered via prime. They also are easier to use in standard equipment. At work we use red brick which on an expensive machine and it works fine but in my home machine (cheaper grinder - Eurka Mignone) it was hard to get a consistent shot. Not so with this coffee, and it tastes nearly as good.
