You shouldn't be forcing the strap over the large outer flange of the button on your guitar. You should take the time to unscrew the button, then insert the much smaller inner flange of the button into the correctly sized hole. When you tighten the button back onto your guitar, the strap will stay put for years. The idea of people using pliers to make the strap holes weak and large enough to slide over the buttons...that rigidity in the leather and a hole that is too small for the outer flange to fit through is the entire point! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value Priced Guitar Strap *by T***C on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2021* Simple and well made guitar strap.
