Thanks in advance..** A: No straps underneath **Q: Can this be used with Audi A4 b8 which has flat roof rails and not raised to put the straps under only connect with front and back of roof bars** A: I'm sure you could if you took it easy when driving, the bag is fairly stable when filled with a good weight. I would recommend using a strip of non slip matting under the bag and just buy a cheap ratchet strap and run it across the bag and through both passenger doors just to add some lateral stability. However, the straps are very fiddly and different lengths which was a real pain. Eventually just gave up on them and used two ratchet straps which worked a treat.
