**Q: Can i use with dewalt dwe 6423 orbital sander**
A: It might fit but this pad is meant as a mount to use as a hook and loop set up with diamond grit concrete (or stone) sanding disks mounted onto it.  Those require flooding the concrete with water and keeping it wet while doing the polishing.  Your orbital sander may not be meant to be used in that wet an environment.

**Q: Can I use this to polish my car with the proper polishing pad attached?**
A: Only if you have a variable speed grinder so you can run the polishing pad at a slow speed.  Most car polishers are designed to orbit in an eliptical pattern thereby eliminating any circular patterns.

**Q: Can I use these pads with a 5/8" - 11 or M14 to 6mm drill adapter?**
A: I use it with 5/8 11

**Q: Will this work on a Makita GA4530 hand grinder??4.5 inch of 115 mm**
A: Do pay attention to the maximum RPM. General grinder runs at 10000 RPM whereas this part is rated for 5000 RPM.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well for my modified use

I was looking for a way to quickly remove paint from old Clapboards. So I came up with a system that works well for me. I bought a 5" variable speed right angle makita grinder that this Rubber backer pad threads right onto. I then bought a 50 pack of 80 grit 5 hole hook and loop sanding pads. I placed a pad onto the Stadea backer pad, drilled holes in the rubber that lined up with the sanding discs and had a modified "dustless" backer pad. In addition to this backer pad I also have a dustless technologies dust shroud mounted on the grinder which hooks up to my HEPA vac. This works well for taking paint off in a hurry, almost to fast if you arent careful (one of the reasons I got a variable speed grinder). If you plan on doing a lot of paint removal you might also want to consider the Paint Shaver Pro, I use the Paint Shaver pro for my first pass, then take off whats left and smooth out the surface with this set up after. All in all I am very happy with this. If you want to convert your angle grinder to a sander this is the best way I have found because hook and loop sanding discs are much cheaper than sanding discs for your grinder. Just be careful not to take to much material off and know that a variable speed Grinder would be the best way to use this set up.
