I've bought several individual String sets from a reputable dealer, a Reel of the Silver on Ebay from a reputable seller and then this Reel of the Black here on desertcart from Wilson (Note: I couldn't find the Luxilon brand name printing on the strings but likely because they are black). I'm always skeptical of lower prices on name brand items so I extensively researched all of these. That being said I believe these are legitimate Luxilon strings. I can't say 100% for sure but I can't tell the difference between all the ones I've purchased. It's possible a counterfeit version can slip through the cracks but just wanted to give my opinion about these strings. I purchased them back in 2024 and have strung up at least 10-12 rackets with this in the full bed and they played just great. I also looked at them under a basic digital microscope and measured the thickness (all measuring within 1.24 to 1.26). The 3 strings under the microscope are Top (Individual String pack from Reputable Dealer), Middle (Silver Reel off Ebay in 2022) and the Bottom (Black Reel from this listing back in 2024). I've been stringing my own rackets for 30 years and this is the best string of the dozens I've used. When I switched to this string I immediately noticed both increased power and control. There is almost zero string movement, so I do not see the same "notching" wear common with most other strings, including synthetic gut. As a result I've yet to break this string, though I've restrung to gain more comfort with lighter tension. This is an extremely stiff string. With other strings I use 55 lbs on my Wilson N Code Tour idsize rackets. With the Alu Pro, I use 46 lbs, and it still feels firm.
