The capacity is excellent but as reported in several reviews, it does leak from the two connection points (the rose and watering tube). The day I purchased it, I found that the connection points were extremely difficult to connect (as described by several reviewers), so I left it in the greenhouse for a couple of hours to soften the plastic, and then attempted to assemble it. The parts slide together firmly and easily, but when the can was filled and I began to water my plants, it leaked considerably from both connection points.  I will keep the product because I have been hard-pressed to find a watering can with a rose that produces the exact flow and water coverage I need. I will eventually use silicon cement to fix these issues. However, I would not recommend this product.

I purchased this item for my father who is an avid gardener. He was looking for a slow flow gentler watering can to water new seedlings. The position of the holes on the nozzle allows for water to gently pour out and not damage his young plants. His was very satisfied with it.
