They also greatly help people increase their strength safely for these exercises. If you doubt their effectiveness read Dr Kelly Starrett's book 'Becoming a Supple Leopard'. I would have given 5 stars but the arm loops are too big for my female clients & consequently slip down the arms, it would be great if they had a strong velcro fastening for each arm.
