I've had another winch near this price point and one well over. Fyi I got the 12.5s and according to the manual the synthetic line is 5/8"x64' (11mmx226mm). Shorter than I thought, but thicker line (another reviewer has a screen shot showing 85' I believe, but thinner line). You only have so much room on the drum, no problem. I did not actually measure the length yet. Fit in my 2016 jeep wrangler Rubicon hard rock bumper perfect. Used the bulldog mounting plate and did NOT need to relocate the vacuum pump. It is close though. Because I had a winch cover from a previous winch I did drill a new front mounting hole for the vacuum pump, which you maybe able to see in the 3rd picture, maybe a 1/2" toward the driver frame rail on the factory bracket so my winch cover would slip on easier. I also removed the solenoids from the enclosure and mounted them behind the grill for a cleaner look and to use my cover. The fairlead bolts are a tad short when using the hard rock bumper because the bulldog mounting kit comes with a plate of it's own that goes behind it, and I added a flip up license plate bracket in there also. It's ok, may get longer bolts someday. Stuck an old sock over the hook to keep the sun off the exposed line and maybe save the paint on tow hook. Haven't had a chance to test it under a really good load yet. Seems pretty quite compared to other winches I've had. Thanks hope that helps someone out. Review: Meets my expectations. Looks great. Didn’t break the bank. - This winch seems to be very solid. It was packed well and arrived on time from Fed-Ex. It was my first time ever installing a winch and I didn’t have very much trouble at all although the instructions are somewhat vague. There is a little bit of guesswork on the multiple mounting positions for the control box as the procedure for relocating the bracket is not mentioned in the instructions. Other than that the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I mounted the control box in the center position first since that is the position that the bracket is set up for when it arrives, but I elected to relocate the box to the side as you can see in the pics for a sleeker look. Plus I like the fact that you are able to see the spool easier with the control box in that position. Haven’t really pulled on anything yet, but all controls work as they should and I honestly hope I never have to use it. I was skeptical about this winch because a winch with these features at this price point is scarce. The wireless remote is actually better made than I expected. It is fairly chunky and feels pretty rough and tumble. All the wiring seems to be of good quality and is 4 awg I believe so it is very beefy. All said I am happy with this winch so far. I may try and do a pull with it tomorrow just to test it out and report back.
