This is for a headlamps. worn on the head while hiking in the dark or setting up camp in the dark. **Q: Does this work on the black diamond sprinter? the original headband is 3/4 inch side and the opening on the headlamp will not allow 1' wide strap.thx** A: Is there any way you can enlarge the opening of the headlamp, like by 1/8th" at the top and bottom? This can be done with a drill bit using the side, not by actually trying to drilling a hole. Even 1/16 of an each on each side of the opening would work, as the headband can be stretched enough to get through the opening. Otherwise I would not cut the side of the headband **Q: Works with black Diamond spot?** A: Worked with mine but it did take a bit to figure out how to attach it. The over the head part isn’t necessary, at least for me. **Q: My head is small (21" circumference)--will this adjust to my size?** A: Yes easily! I wear a size 7 3/8" baseball cap. This headband strap would be perfect for a small circumference, as it would mean you would actually have the support of two straps going around most of your head. I have maybe 2/3 of the second strap going over my first strap. Thus I could continue tightening if need be. I would have my doubts, if someone had a huge head rather than a smaller one. I don't even use the top strap, as I get plenty of support.
