So light and small you won't even know it's in your bag - Exactly what I was looking for. Really is ultra thin / light, but blocks any water from getting through and is also really durable. Super easy to slip in your bag / purse or back pocket, and folds up fast and easy into a nice, neat little pouch. So far I've used it on the beach, taking a break hiking, at a music concert (with damp grass) and in public places where the ground looks too dirty for sitting. I like the design and it's the perfect size to fit two people for sitting. I've already had people asking where I got it. Couldn't be happier. Thinking about using these as stocking stuffers for the holidays. Perfect for people who live in snowy areas, or anywhere where it rains a lot and you need a place to sit down when you're out and about. Review: Good quality product!!! - I received my tarp a couple of days ago and I have already used it twice! I put it down on my car seat for my son who had just gone swimming. It kept my seats nice and dry. Also, I used it to protect my pants from the dirty bleachers at a baseball game. I do hike, backpack and snowshoe so it will be coming with me the next time I go. It is light weight and sturdy. It also looks good!!! It packs away in a small sack and there is even enough room for a phone or keys in case those things need to stay dry. This will be kept in my car at all times just in case. Great Product! ## Features - Lightweight and Compact 2.7oz Design - Packs into a small stuff sack that fits in your pocket or clips to your daypack, leaving more room for essentials while hiking. No more choosing between comfort and weight. - Stay Dry on any Terrain: Tired of soggy clothes after a trail break? Our PU8000mm waterproof silnylon backpacking tarp ensures that whether you’re sitting on muddy forest floors or dew-soaked grass, moisture stays on the ground—not on your gear. - Large enough for two. If you’re backpacking with a buddy, you can throw this small mat down & both take a break. The ideal dirt tarp and ground sheet for removing boots to keep dirt outside the tent. - Puncture and tear resistant, the perfect compact outdoor tarp for hiking & roughing it in the wild. Premium Ripstop Silnylon materials won’t wear when folding, packing, or while on the ground. - Reflective corner tabs that are easy to tie down in the wind and to find in the dark. Perfect sized pocket to keep small items in order or your camping blanket weighted down. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073475HTC | | Best Sellers Rank | #641,162 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #328 in Camping Tent Tarps | | Brand | DAKOUT GEAR | | Brand Name | DAKOUT GEAR | | Color | Ultramarine Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 170 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 48"L x 27.5"W | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3681B | | Model Number | 3681B | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 48"L x 27.5"W | | Size | 27.5 x 48 inches | | UPC | 197644234172 | | Ultraviolet Light Protection | False | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Color:** Ultramarine Blue - **Brand:** DAKOUT GEAR - **Material:** Ripstop Silnylon - Waterproof PU8000MM - **Water Resistance Level:** Waterproof - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** hiking backpacking bikepacking - **Product Dimensions:** 48"L x 27.5"W - **Included Components:** Carabiner, Stuff Sack - **Size:** Small - **Ultraviolet Light Protection:** False ## Images ![DAKOUT Ultralight Tarp 2.7oz Waterproof Ground Cloth 27.5x48in Backpacking - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81PQ-zyOSLL.jpg) ![DAKOUT Ultralight Tarp 2.7oz Waterproof Ground Cloth 27.5x48in Backpacking - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81tK2A0Hi8L.jpg) ![DAKOUT Ultralight Tarp 2.7oz Waterproof Ground Cloth 27.5x48in Backpacking - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hZWh2a5FL.jpg) ![DAKOUT Ultralight Tarp 2.7oz Waterproof Ground Cloth 27.5x48in Backpacking - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91LnmrlU0cL.jpg) ![DAKOUT Ultralight Tarp 2.7oz Waterproof Ground Cloth 27.5x48in Backpacking - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/9144Q4TRGTL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this hiking ground cloth really waterproof?** A: You can set it down on a wet surface, then sit on it, and it will not leak thru.
