It creates separates files for them so that’s pretty convenient.It comes with a 32GB TF card, which is pretty good again considering the price point. That will record you more than 5 hours if you record only the front camera, of half if you record with both at the same time.It seems that there is a mode that can save the last few seconds in case you were not recording and if the camera senses a chock. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but that’s pretty cool!It has a motion detector in case you can find any use for that… Maybe for use at a front door of a house?It has a “loop recording” functionality, which I have no idea what it is for. The manual doesn’t say anything about it. (UPDATE: Actually it’s in the Amazon’s description! What I find weird with this function is that it never tells you how much time it has been recording stuff, as it will reset every x minutes, depending on what you selected. It does tell you however, when you’re not recording, how much time you have left on the card)The negatives:The biggest negative in my opinion is that the clip on which the cam snaps on doesn’t seem like it will last forever. I will update in case it doesn’t hold the cam anymore.As long as it’s being used in a car, I think it will be fine, but I wouldn’t use it on a bike for example.The second thing is that the battery doesn’t last for a long time at all.I charged it then try to start the cam without being plugged, and it was already missing one bar of battery out of 3. I suspect this battery is only there to be able to complete the recording when you turn off your car and that the power gets disconnected. I wonder if the cam will automatically turn off and save the clip if the battery gets too low.One other thing, the manual: those people need to get themselves a better translator! For example, here is a sentence from it: “Connect the plug with DVR seperater port when finished decorate” (I didn’t make a typo, I just copy pasted it). Plus there isn’t instructions on how to activate the IR leds, I guess that it’s by connecting the electric cable that comes with the rear camera, but it doesn’t even say how many volts it needs to take! (UPDATE, I read from another review that you have to connect them to the rear lights of your car, which makes sense, but I would have loved it to be written somewhere!)Also if you look at the picture I provided, you can see that the picture of the camera in the manual is reversed with the reality (see those 4 buttons on the right? The picture says on the right there’s only 3 buttons and the TF card slot…)One last thing, the languages are not accurate. For example if you try to set it to French, you’ll have another language that definitely doesn’t look like FrenchI’ll give it 5 stars because ultimately by searching a bit I could figure everything out, and that’s ok to have to do that for the price, bug if the manufacturer is reading that, please, ask a native english speaker to read your manual once before you get it printed! When I get the new mount and SD card, I will update to 5 stars ****I have a couple of issues with the camera I am hoping to resolve. It is past the return window to Amazon. The Mirror mount came broken in the box. The part on the post the camera mounts to is broken. Is it possible to get a new post? Also I am on the 3rd SD card. The one it came with stopped working. When the camera turns on the screen freezes like it took a picture, but will not do anything else. None of the buttons will work nor can I access any of the menus. I bought an sd card to replace. It worked for 2 days and now the camera will not recognize it. The 3rd one is working for the moment. But not feeling confident it will continue to work. Thinking I wasted my money on this camera. On the positive side, it is a good looking item, fairly easy to figure out how to work. Simple install, easy to hardwire into the car.
