I've caught my blacksmith built husband standing on it the reach the top bunk of a bed like he shouldn't and the wood didn't even creek. What I didn't expect is that is was so comfortable even with nothing on it. Right after building it I laid on it (180lbs worth of 5'9" mama here) and I could have easily taken a nap. We don't have the tatami mat to go on it. We have the emoor portable floor futon twin size kit and the kids have fallen asleep on it sitting 'sleepovers' to each other's rooms so quickly I am wondering why I bothered getting them a bed since this takes up so much less space. So a well deserved 5 stars. I'd give 6 if I could. Not many of these out there that can also sleep a blacksmith built man for an afternoon nap yet still fold up effortlessly into the closet when not in use. For the record, I got the smallest size.
