There were no reviews for this product, but I liked the look of the metal canister, and the fact that these came with a string. I have tinnitus, and was thinking I'd carry these with me to concerts and other events, because often these events have the volume up too high for me. But when I tried them out, playing drums, at first I was disoriented. The high frequencies were nearly gone, but it didn't seem to do anything with the mid frequencies. They were coming through almost undiminished, but fuzzed up a bit, and the noise hurt my ears. I tried them once more on another day, to make sure. Nope, I can't use 'em. For now, for drum practice I'm using the power-tool user's ear plugs I got from a hardware store. I'll try another brand of noise reduction plugs though. Come to think of it, the canister is too big and bulky to carry in my pocket, when a little plastic case (like my hardware store plugs came with) would work much better!
