Flows easily. Not scratchy. Trying to erase though - if you've put the lid on the top of the pen, the lid flips off, but it does erase quite well. The black ink could be slightly darker as it looks a little too grey. The lids with the eraser do not snap on properly to the bottom of the pen, so they come of easily when rubbing stuff out.
