Review: Reliable hydration for long runs and hikes - I've been using the Salomon Soft Reservoir for several months now, and it's become an essential part of my trail running and hiking gear. Here's what I appreciate about it: ✅ What I Love Flexible and lightweight: The soft design molds comfortably to my pack, reducing bounce and shifting as I drink. Easy to clean: The wide slider opening allows for quick drying and thorough cleaning, ensuring no lingering odors. Leak-resistant: The bladder has remained leak-free during my use, providing peace of mind on the trail. Compatible with various packs: Fits seamlessly into my Salomon vest and other compatible hydration packs. ⚠️ A Couple of Considerations Mouthpiece durability: Some users have reported issues with the mouthpiece cracking over time, even with gentle use. Hose length: The hose is slightly long for my setup, leading to some excess length that I need to manage. ⭐ Final Verdict Overall, the Salomon Soft Reservoir offers excellent hydration performance for endurance activities. Its flexibility, ease of cleaning, and leak resistance make it a reliable choice for trail runners and hikers. While there are minor considerations regarding the mouthpiece and hose length, they don't detract significantly from its overall functionality. Review: No slosh, no leaks, perfect for trail running - Bought this as a replacement reservoir for my running vest and it's excellent. The 1.5L size is perfect for longer runs without being too heavy. The soft flask design means it shrinks down as you drink so there's no sloshing around. The bite valve works smoothly and doesn't leak in the bag. Really easy to fill and clean too, the wide opening at the top makes a big difference. Fits well in my Salomon vest obviously but should work in most hydration packs. Well made and no plasticky taste at all which was a concern. Great bit of kit for trail running. ## Features - Short underarm routing : The reservoir offers you a logical and 30% shorter way to get more water to your mouth with a high flow rate for less fatigue - Comfort : This soft flexible reservoir shapes to fit your bag and shrinks as you drink to limit water bounce. The new slider is also softer on your back - Easy to use : The updated slider has extra grip that makes refilling and emptying easier, even with cold or sweaty hands ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09P2SJRJY | | Best Sellers Rank | 6,373 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 1,194 in Running | | Brand | Salomon | | Brand Name | Salomon | | Capacity | 1.5 litres | | Colour | Clear Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 708 Reviews | | Included Components | Hydration Accessories | | Item Dimensions W x H | 19.6W x 21.4H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Bottle | | Item Weight | 120 Grams | | Item weight | 120 Grams | | Manufacturer | Salomon | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3923301000 | | Material | Body: 74% Thermoplastic Polyurethane, 12% Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, 7% Polyoxymethylene, 4% Polypropylene, 3% Silicon Material Body: 74% Thermoplastic Polyurethane, 12% Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, 7% Polyoxymethylene, 4% Polypropylene, 3% Silicon See more | | Material Type | Body: 74% Thermoplastic Polyurethane, 12% Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, 7% Polyoxymethylene, 4% Polypropylene, 3% Silicon | | Model Number | LC1916200001 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pocket Description | Utility Pocket | | Product Warranty | 2 year manufacturer. | | Product dimensions | 19.6W x 21.4H centimetres | | Sport | Running | | Sport Type | Running | | Strap Type | Shoulder strap | | Tank Volume | 1.5 Litres | | UPC | 195751049924 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Salomon - **Colour:** Clear Blue - **Item weight:** 120 Grams - **Sport:** Running ## Images ![SALOMON Soft Reservoir 1.5L, Short Underarm Routing for Easy Water Access, Flexible Shrink-As-You-Drink Bladder, Optimized Slider Grip - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718cuYbT5ML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it come with the hose?** A: Yes it comes with a bite straw.
