**Q: Is the dimension of 8"x12" the interior cutout, or the external frame of the vent?**
A: It is the interior part of the frame. As far as I remember the measurements are 8 3/8" x 11 5/8"

**Q: Can this be used in metal mobile home skirting?**
A: it can be used to vent the crawl space, but usually I would use a bigger vent if space is no issue, to get air to circulate in crawl space.

**Q: Is this 8 inches tall or 8 inches wide?**
A: It's 8" wide if installed in the orientation as shown in the photo.

**Q: What is the full overall dimensions?**
A: 8 X 12. Cut hole 3/4" smaller

I love how easy it was to install. I also love how it ps blue on the outside and enjoy seeing it open up when the temperature gets over 95 degerees in my workshop. I have a monitor in the shed and the read out monitor in the house and I can see at all times the temperature in my shed. It’s perfect.
