Returned and received a new set of five and all worked great. Caveat, the Big Treeetech SKR3 EZ motherboard that I purchased with this came faulty and I had to return it too for a replacement, so, I'm not sure if the dead steppers were due to the faulty motherboard or were the steppers themselves. They are compatible with other boards that can use 2209 stepper drivers with an available adapter, but know that doing so makes them quite tall.
