## Description

Stove Rope 10mm & 3 Meters Long with Glue Model: R10-3-STDG Stove Rope Thermal Seal is used for sealing and jointing purposes where a temperature resistance is required. It is commonly used when jointing flue systems to the appliance and also as a seal around the inside of stove doors. 10mm Stove Rope Kit Specification: 10mm x 3 Metre Length EverBuild Rop Fix Glue Rope Length - 3 metre How To Install Your New Rope Clean away any old rope and remove and loose metal from the locating channel. Apply Fire Rope Adhesive following instructions on the container. Press Fire Rope firmly into channel, then cut Fire Rope with scissors to finish with an end to end butt joint. Allow 1 hour before closing doors.

Review: Does the job at a sensible price - Good product, could do with additional tape for the ends depending on the type of door (if rope has to be fitted in two pieces) Seems to do the job it was designed for.
Review: So easy... - So easy to use! Prep is important - remove the old rope and have a good clean of the rope-runs (to remove old glue, rope, rusty bits and ash). Then, fit the rope to gauge size and cut accordingly (using the included tape to seal the rope ends), then get to sticking! The glue isn’t runny at all, it’s very thick (needing a good squeeze to get out of the tube) and goes in to the rope-runs easily. Once the glues in, press the rope in place. I glued the rope at the top of the door as a start, then down the sides, then across the bottom, and the middle last (as this couldn’t be clamped). YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE DOOR! I fitted the new rope with the door in place and used washing pegs to clamp in place while setting (it’s advised not to close the burner door for at least an hour after gluing new rope). So very easy to do. Great product.
