So this is not a replacement application. I connected antenna wire to the Kenwood car stereo and immediately got stations on my other stereo's that were weak signal. [no power to ant amplifier yet]. Once I connected power to the antenna amplifier weak stations came in clear as a bell. Even stations I could barely get on other radios came in clear. So I give it 5 stars as I just installed it today. 8/26/2016.I'll update. The physical installation for new application I just drilled a hole in the roof, all connections inside van. I used silicone to make it waterproof. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Far more attractive than the stock antenna,, but it's reception is awful. *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2016* It installed nicely. Easy installation, power and antenna. Simple. -But the reception Sucks. I can barely get the Portland and Boston stations anymore. Argh. So now I use my mp3 player in the car all the time. Also, this fin is only a two wire antenna,, so if you have Sirus satellite radio, you will lose that option altogether. I have considered using Sirus in my near future, so I'll have to find another way somehow. Actually, my end all solution (sometime this Summer) will be to mount the original floppy 12" Chrysler antenna so that it's upside-down under the rear of the car. That way, I still get the clean look of the fin, but the better reception and the satellite radio of the original antenna. Perhaps Kenson (or someone) is going to offer a better fin soon that does get good reception AND has a second antenna hook up for Satelite radio. Oh well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks Good *by T*** on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2015* Some people so that it's too big but it's really not. The box is about the size of a large oil filter box.
