**Q: when you need to take it off with one hand, where is the release mechanism?**
A: Unfortunately there is no quick release mechanism. You have to loosen the straps and pull it over your head. Would be much better with a buckle release.

**Q: Does it come in white**
A: I do not believe in comes in white, only black mesh.

**Q: Is this small enough for a femaie 5'4"? Elbow to base of thumb 12.5"**
A: I am 5’6” and have elbow to base of thumb 12” so I would say yes

Helpful after shoulder surgery! The material is soft and not itchy and it's breathable. I bought this item to use for showering and it has been perfect. Adjustable straps help support the arm and shoulder and you can still wash the arm with it on. The water flows through nicely and the velcro does not slip when it is wet it holds very tight and supports you well I definitely recommend if you've had a recent shoulder surgery
