Open toe works great with all my shoes and sandals and I think they’re easier to get on and off too. 165 lbs. Size Large. No complaints except the overall length could be 1” shorter for me. If I pull them up completely, they would come to about the middle of my knee (not quite the middle). But again, I love them and they are very comfortable.
