I have been very, very impressed. He was worn them basically every day for 6 months and still going strong - they are only just starting to show wear. He runs about playing soccer/football most lunchtimes so is normally quite hard on shoes. There are no visible scuff marks which normally appear on school shoes. The rubber on the front has remained in place and is just starting to wear through as opposed to coming unstuck/unstitched. Finally a pair of shoes that he is going to grow out of instead of them falling apart first. When he finally outgrew them, we handed them down in really great condition.As for comfort, GET THEM. It's like walking on springy clouds.
