They are soft, flexible and wide. The never too tight and never rub. I like this model especially because it has 2 straps (so, they open wide and easy for a kid to put on) and they have rubber area in the front, so the shoe does not wear out as fast as other models.SKR shoes fit better for my kids than stride rite shoes but they not last as long, just one season, they usually start falling apart by the time they start becoming too small.
