Originally I thought that I would stick it in a raspberry pi case as it is basically the same form factor. However, after thinking about it for a bit, I decided that since I already had a raspberry pi in that case and since the case would require modification (the Rock64 has a different type of power jack), I decided to go with this case.Not surprisingly there are not nearly as many cases for the Rock64 as there is for the Rapberry Pi (as a matter of fact there was only three that I could find). None of them were made out of aluminum which is supposedly supposed to act as a heat sink (or that at least is what I read on the Raspberry Pi reviews and I assume would be the same for a Rock64), so my choices were limited to plastic cases. At the end of the day I picked this case which is a case with a full enclosure (all of the rest were open air).In terms of the case, assembly was interesting as the case comes in layers that you pancake together with screws to hold it all together. I will caution anyone assembling the case to be gentle as some of the pieces are fragile and do break easily. In my case I did break a piece, but due to the sandwiched design it didn't matter as pressure from the screws holds everything in place and now that it is assembled I can't even tell.The other assembly issue that I had was that a number of the pieces come with a paper coating (presumably to prevent scratching during packing and shipping) that needs to be removed prior to assembly. I didn't remove mine, and had to take it apart after I assembled it to remove the coatings.Other than the assembly issues I'm happy with it and it is a beautiful case. It's transparent so you can see the LED's and circuit boards inside. All of the ports are accessible and the internal header is also accessible through a cutout in the case. So its also practical and functional.The only other negative, aside from those I already mentioned (the case material and assembly issues), if I were to search for one, might be the price after shipping. If you buy the Rock64 official case when you by the Rock64 on the Pine64 site, the case is only $7.99, and there is a flat shipping charge. So addition components doesn't cost you anything more for shipping. Whereas this case is $20.00 with shipping.They also include one extra heatsink that you don't actually need, which isn't negative, just odd.Overall though I'm a happy customer and since none of the items mentioned above seemed significant or were unexpected when I bought the case, I'm giving this product five stars. ### ⭐ Absolutely worthless. Did someone forget about the eMMC card ... *by K***H on March 10, 2018* Absolutely worthless. Did someone forget about the eMMC card? The plastic was not designed to have the eMMC module in place. It will not fit over the module. You can't assemble it. Like another reviewer, I nearly resigned myself to buying a pi case and hacking it to fit and I am so glad I didn’t.Now, if you have a rock64 or other single-board computer, you clearly like to tinker - and putting together this case is a short and fun task. As already stated, the layered design means there’s some assembly and it may take you a bit to figure out (it comes with a diagram that gives you the basics) - the layers have a paper backing to remove, some pieces have a tight fit, and some pieces (like the power / reset buttons) are pretty tiny, but it was a joy to put together (just be careful of putting smudges or prints on the inside of the pieces if you care about looks).It does come with two heat sinks - one for the processor and one for the RAM - which as far as I know aren’t absolutely necessary but are a nice add-on, and you have full access to all of the ports with acceptable clearance. And it looks much cooler than an average pi case.
