What can I say. I am for once in my life, absolutely blown away by a product. It's amazing. My 10 year old daughter had never had a single dry night. Very heavy sleeper. We had been to the enuresis clinic and we had taken advice regarding ensuring the issue wasn't constipation, as that can cause night time enuresis. That sorted, the bed wetting still was no better. I went back to the clinic but by now they had had major cuts and the waiting list was going to be at least 6 months. My daughter was so fed up with having to wear a nappy in bed (and having major leaks every night) so I finally bit the bullet and spent a large amount of money (for me) on this alarm. We chose the purple shorts which are lovely. we washed them first as per instructions and I like the fact that the wires are invisibly sewn into the pants. I also like that the sensor is a little disc which attaches to the pants. The actual alarm plugs into the mains by the bed. when the alarm goes off, the child puts the alarm off at the socket by touching the green light, then races off to the toilet and takes the sensor off the pants and attaches it to the spare (dry) pants. I was concerned that if we had 2 accidents in 1 night that we would have no dry pants but that didn't happen. The pants are very easy to wash and tumble dry. The results follow: night 1, slept thru, no alarm, no accidents. I couldn't believe it. How could she go from weeing pints every night and not waking, to sleeping thru, staying dry? I didn't sleep as I was worried she would sleep thru the alarm! Night 2, slept thru dry again! Night 3, 4 alarm went off and she got up, went to the loo and changed the magic pants, back to bed. Night 5, 6, 7 dry all night. Night 8, alarm went off, woke up went to toilet, we had to change the sheets this time as more wee had happened before she woke, which annoyed her a bit but she cooperated and back to sleep. Nght 9, alarm went off but she said she had woken up but forgot she wasn't wearing a nappy. Night 10 woke up by herself and went to the toilet. Night 11, alarm went off and she went to the toilet, no need to change sheet. Night 12, 13, 14, 15 dry all night.So. She has never slept thru the alarm. We have only needed to change the sheets once as every other time, she has woken and gone to the toilet quickly enough before too much wee came out. She has had 2 then 3 and now 4 completely dry nights and I feel that the 4 will turn into 14 and that she is sorted. I am so happy for her as she had stopped going to sleepovers sure to embarrassment over the issue. If she is dry for the next 10 nights, then that means she has been cured of her problem within a month of using the alarm. This is brilliant. The amount we spent will soon be made back by the savings in nappies (she was using 2 a night!!!). I don't understand how my child can go from peeing gallons a night and sleeping thru to staying dry all night. It's like magic! We had tried before to go cold turkey to see if that would work but nothing has worked apart from this amazing device. I thoroughly recommend. If I could give it 10 stars I would!Edit:: well the 4 nights turned into 14 and she's been dry ever since. It's a miracle! I have since lent the alarm to my friend for her son and he has had his 14 dry nights, also within 1 month.
