It also creates much less static than my previous felt mat and does not stick to the records when lifting them. As others have noted, it is not as “white” as in photos, but still looks nice and has the FLUANCE logo frosted into the top. Coupled with a record clamp on my Pro-Ject E1, it definitely improved overall sound. Seems punchier, clearer and better bass response. Quite satisfied. Overall improvement may vary from turntable to turntable, of course.

Excellent turntable mat. It completely removed the humming/resonance I had with my aluminium platter. It also creates much less static than my previous felt mat and does not stick to the records when lifting them. The records sit nicely on it, playback feels cleaner, and the whole setup is more convenient to use. Very happy with it — simple, effective, and definitely worth it.

Nicely machined piece of acrylic, arrived in stiff cardboard jacket similar to a record jacket. As others have noted, it is not as “white” as in photos, but still looks nice and has the FLUANCE logo frosted into the top. Coupled with a record clamp on my Pro-Ject E1, it definitely improved overall sound. Seems punchier, clearer and better bass response. Quite satisfied. Overall improvement may vary from turntable to turntable, of course.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Turntable Upgrade

I did not like the felt slipper mat that my new Yamaha TT-S303 turntable came with and after much research decided on trying an acrylic mat. I ordered this one from Fluance and a similar model from Hudson Hi Fi. The Fluance arrived yesterday and I did an audio comparison between it and the OEM felt mat. I used a selection of 70's and 80's rock, Modern Jazz and several classical recordings for my evaluation. With each LP there was a noticeable difference between both mats. The Fluance acrylic allowed a discernible sharpening and definition of the mid-range while also enhancing and broadening the lows and highs over the felt. I have a somewhat vintage system, a Yamaha RX-596 powering Klipsch SB-3's and the acrylic mat proved to be an excellent addition to this system. I was so pleased that I canceled the order for the Hudson mat. The frosted finish really looks cool on my all black turntable and the manufacture was spot on. Every one's system and especially everyone's ear is different so you may not achieve the same results as I did, but for me this was a real plus.
