### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy Cleanup and SMOOTH finish
*by R***H on 3 September 2024*

I recently used Johnstone's Quick Dry Satin in Brilliant White for a home renovation project, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. This paint is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to achieve a beautiful, durable finish on interior wood, metal, or even radiators. Here’s why I’m so impressed with this product: No Separate Undercoat Needed One of the biggest advantages of Johnstone's Quick Dry Satin is that it doesn’t require a separate undercoat. This is a huge time-saver, especially when tackling large projects. I was able to apply the paint directly to the surface, and it adhered perfectly, providing excellent coverage with just two coats. The finish was smooth and even, without any signs of streaking or patchiness. Not having to worry about an undercoat made the entire painting process faster and more straightforward. Easy Application The application of this paint is incredibly easy. The consistency is just right—not too thick or too runny—which made it a pleasure to work with. Whether I was using a brush or a roller, the paint glided on effortlessly, covering the surface with minimal effort. The satin finish looks fantastic, providing a subtle sheen that enhances the appearance of wood and metal surfaces. I was particularly pleased with how well it worked on radiators, giving them a fresh, modern look. Quick Drying Time Another standout feature of this paint is its quick drying time. It dries to the touch in just 1-2 hours, which allowed me to finish my project in record time. This quick turnaround is perfect for those who need to complete a project in a day or simply don’t want to wait long between coats. Despite the fast drying time, the paint doesn’t compromise on quality—each coat dries evenly and adheres well to the surface. Easy Cleanup Cleanup was a breeze with this water-based paint. Brushes and rollers washed out easily with just soap and water, leaving no residue behind. This made the whole painting process much less of a chore, and I appreciated not having to deal with strong solvents or lingering odors. The low-odor formula is another plus, making it much more pleasant to work with indoors. Impressive Coverage With a coverage of up to 12m² per litre, the 2.5L tin provided more than enough paint for my project. I was able to cover multiple doors, trim, and a couple of radiators with plenty of paint to spare. The brilliant white color is truly brilliant—it’s a clean, crisp white that brightens up any space and holds up well over time. Final Thoughts Overall, Johnstone's Quick Dry Satin in Brilliant White is a top-notch paint that delivers on all fronts. The no-undercoat-needed feature, easy application, quick drying time, and hassle-free cleanup make it an ideal choice for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike. Whether you’re painting wood, metal, or radiators, this paint provides a beautiful, durable finish that you’ll be proud of. I'll definitely be using this from now on for all my internal painting projects.
