Any recommendations?** A: The Best Keyboard ever made! Ever! I have had this keyboard for 4 years now and the components on this are amazing. Now the problem that I had was with the corporation filing Chapter 13 and going Bankrupt. They left me with no drivers and no new firmware for windows 10. Sadly My keyboard turns off and on not because of a short or some wires (I have extensively tested this and it is not the hardware) It is because it can not communicate fast enough with Windows 10. The programming for windows 10 has gone through a major overhaul and anything manufactured that are electronics in 2014 is having issues with windows 10. NOW! 2018 MADCATZ has reopened and the factories that were making the product in China bought the company/patents and now they are slowly growing back but I do not expect them to honor support for a previous product but you never know so I sent a few emails to see if they respond. I really hope they do get a programmer to fix the firmware and drivers... it is only in there best interest since the product does carry there name on it! hate to see this end up in a garage sale where its the worst place for a madcatz product to end up at. **Q: is it possible to use the keyboard without the venom screen?** A: Yes. Personally, I've never used the VENOM screen, my Husband barely ever uses it himself, and he uses the keyboard for PC gaming daily. Using the venom touch screen is not mandatory. **Q: do you get the mad catz or cyborg version? Also, do the keys light up and (if so) are you able to choose the color?** A: Hi, the box I received has the Mad Catz Logo on it but I did not think there was a difference between the models, just the branding. Also, yes the Key's do light up and yes you make them any color you like however it is one color for all keys (ie. you can not change the color of individual Keys of zones) **Q: I saw in a video that someone had a different logo next to the keyboard instead of the red Mad Catz one. Is it possible to replace the Mad Catz one?** A: There are two models. That's it. The only way to replace it is if you physically remove the plate and scratch yhe logo off. I believe its just a paper interior. There are videos of people changing in this manner which is the only way.
