I have found it difficult to find an over the counter retinol product that works. This seems effective. I found that using it daily did dry my face and I had some minor peeling, but after that initial phase those effects resolved. I have fairly sensitive skin and I am tolerating it well. I do use a good moisturizer. If it seems to irritating starting with applications less frequently, as most retinol products recommend, should help ease your skin into it.
