A: The saucers are separate. Not attached.

**Q: Would this be good to use for a DIY light string project?**
A: Be sure to double check the measurements, but I don't see why you couldn't string a few together and fill them with fairy lights - it would look rustic and cool 👍

**Q: Can these be used to plant fruits and vegetables?**
A: They can as long as they are not varieties that need a drier soil. I’ve had some plants not work well in these because the soil actually stays too moist for them. So be sure whatever you plant is something that likes plenty of water. :-)
