Tried another brand first but it didn't run true so all my bits wobbled. This adapter runs true and fits perfectly and took all thewobble out of my smaller bits. When I need to use a 1/2" bit I remove the adapter. Works great appears to be very well made. I have used it for over 7 months so far at least 4-5 hours a day 5-6 days a week and no problem. I bought two when I ordered them and the 2nd one is collecting dust in my Bit Drawer. Would recommend to anyone needing one and IF i ever need to buy another I know where to go. I have used Whiteside router bits for years and have never had any issues with their bits. Their reputation and my experience with their products is why I tried their adapter.
